[FIX] dual boot windows 7 dan karmic

Postby forent » 16 Jan 2010, 09:07

Could not save the file /boot/grub/grub.cfg.
You are trying to save the file on a read-only disk.
Please check that you typed the location correctly and try again.

jalanin

Code: Select all

grub-install /dev/sda1

hasilnya ini

Code: Select all

grub-setup: warn: Attempting to install GRUB to a partition instead of the MBR.
This is a BAD idea. grub-setup: warn: Embedding is not possible.
GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists.
However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and its use is discouraged.
Installation finished. No error reported.
This is the contents of the device map /boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install'.

- Masuk ke Live CD (boot via CD and choose " Try Ubuntu......")
- setelah masuk ke area Desktop, buka terminal
- ketikan perintah berikut :

Code: Select all

sudo fdisk -l

Code: Select all

sudo mkdir /media/sda10

Code: Select all

sudo mount /dev/sda10 /media/sda10

Code: Select all

sudo grub-install --root-directory=/media/sda10 /dev/sda

setelah itu langsung aja Reboot dengan Peritah :

Code: Select all

sudo reboot atau shutdown -r now

semoga membantu bro.....
