partisi /home/data/.Private Di ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS

Hallo....Salam kenal... :)
Aq pnya PC server yg tk install ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS,itu q bikin file share menggunakan samba, nah kdang2 tu di pc client pas buka file share nya isinya kosong hnya ada (Accessing apa g2 lupa n readme, la setelah tk cek mkek df -h itu partisi "/home/data/.Private" gx ada, pi biasanya klo file tsb bsa diakses partisi tsb ada, sbnrnyA ketrangan dr partisi tsb apa sih?
n gimana solusinya?

  • Untuk urusan teknis begini sudah seharusnya anda menggunakan bahasa yang baku, itulah inti dari ber-komikasi.
  • lampirkan juga konfigurasi anda (smb.conf)
  • Jelaskanjuga bagaimana anda melakukan mapping client ke samba server

Pagi...
Emm agan2 ksh tw dong /home/data/.Private-->ini partisi apa yah?
soale itu muncul di "df -h"...pdhl /home/data itu tak share mnggunakan samba.didalamnya ada folder 1 n 2, nah terkadang folder 1 n 2 tsb gx muncul di client. gimana dong? ksh solusinya yiah...
sy pakek ubuntu server 12.04 lts..

Begini, tolong diperhatikan
  • Janganlah newbi dijadikan sebagai alasan.
  • Sulit sekali ya mengingatkan anda untuk tidak menggunakan singkatan-singkatan model SMS. Seperti ini contohnya =
    5af yang mana ya mas, yang diedit?
  • Kasus anda ini mungkin berhubungan dengan user samba. Beda user, beda pula folder yang bisa di akses
  • file smb.cfg ? bisa diampirkan

Jika saya lihat sekilas mata, walau tidak mengerti dengan samba. Coba perhatikan yang di cetak tebal tersebut

Bagaimana mungkin client bisa akses ???
Di ENKRIPSI seh ... Kemungkinan saat install di tanya Encrypt Home directory, mas pasti tekan "Yes"

Data yang atau HDD atau Partition yang di Enkripsi, hasilnya sama sekali tidak akan bisa di akses oleh siapapun, terkecuali Anda sendiri

Tetapi faktanya client masih bisa akses...
cuman terkadang folder tersebut hilang (tidak muncul diclient)
setelah saya reboot servernya dan masuk ke usernya, baru folder tersebut muncul kembali di clients.
permasalahannya dimana ya? terus bagaimana solusinya?

saya harus ketik command chmod tersebut?
Terus bagaimana untuk mengecek apakah tool tool tersebut sudah terinstall atau belum?
kalau saya jalankan install dalam keadaan file share tersebut sedang digunakan client, apa akan terputus koneksi sambanya?
jika memang benar begitu alangkah baiknya jika melakukannya saat clients sudah off, benar begitu?

Berikut hasilnya, hasil saya cek yang libcupsys2 kosong, apakah itu berarti kalau tools tersebut belum terinstall?
