Could not save the file /boot/grub/grub.cfg.
You are trying to save the file on a read-only disk.
Please check that you typed the location correctly and try again. padahal udah di posisi root. pakai sudo juga sama.

jalanin hasilnya ini grub-setup: warn: Attempting to install GRUB to a partition instead of the MBR.
This is a BAD idea. grub-setup: warn: Embedding is not possible.
GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists.
However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and its use is discouraged.
Installation finished. No error reported.
This is the contents of the device map /boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install'.
(hd0) /dev/sda

- Masuk ke Live CD (boot via CD and choose " Try Ubuntu......") - setelah masuk ke area Desktop, buka terminal - ketikan perintah berikut : hasilnya adalah Pembagian Partisi pada Hard disk Anda..,misal Linux berada pada partisi : /dev/sda10 sudo mount /dev/sda10 /media/sda10 sudo grub-install --root-directory=/media/sda10 /dev/sda setelah itu langsung aja Reboot dengan Peritah :
sudo reboot atau shutdown -r now semoga membantu bro..... sambil biar semangat Nge-Open Source...
